Para-Coach Leadership Workshops
ParaSport International has developed the Para-Coach Leadership Workshop that's focused on knowledge resources specifically tailored for coaching participants and athletes with disabilities. Topics include disability knowlege, athlete engagement and coaching considerations.
The workshop considers the structure of the para-sport community, including the influence of the International Paralympic Committee and national, regional and local para-sport organizations that impace athletes and coaches.
Practical exercises and case studies are introduced to enhance learning, applying skills and developing outcomes that coaches use in their daily training, competition and sport management environments.
Each workshop is customized to its audience with respect to sport specific interests and/or disability specific interests where applicable.
